How to issue a cost cite and release warning

To issue a cost cite and release warning, select the 22§983 option from the Warnings section.
Scroll down to the Officer remarks section, and type in the relevant court, warrant ID, and case numbers.
Preview the warning by clicking Print preview.

The officer remarks section will automatically be changed to the following:

Cost Cite and Release Warrant ID:
Case Number(s):

NOTICE: The Court referenced above has issued a Cost Cite and Release Warrant commanding you to appear before the clerk of the court referenced above within ten (10) days of the date of this Warning/Notice to set a cost hearing. Failure to appear within ten (10) days may result in the issuance of a Cost Arrest Warrant, and subject you to arrest and additional fines, fees, and/or costs.

If you have been arrested based upon another warrant, or upon probable cause, you shall appear before the clerk of the court referenced above within ten (10) days of your release from custody to set a cost hearing.
